Win A Vespa 2016
The campaign helps raise awareness and promote recovery and addiction. Westminster House  provides opportunities for women to  integrate back into society and be successful. The money raised will go towards helping Clients who have completed Primary Care and OnGoing recovery programs at Westminster House to have access to bursaries to go back to school. This can include obtaining her GED, upgrading her computer skills and so much more. From the women who choose to use the bursary they can apply for the Women Do Recovery Award of Distinction Scholarship at Douglas College. This includes up to $5000 for tuition and books.

At Westminster House we strongly believe the full continuum of care and seeing the treatment process thru to the end. Our clients are creating a new life and completely reinventing themselves and often they cannot return to the life style that ended them up in treatment. We want to make sure our clients have success in their new life. Weather that mean assisting our alumni find housing, providing them with work experience, creating a healthy support group, completing or beginning the re-education process.

Since implementing the OnGoing Recovery Program,  Westminster House has seen an 17% increase in sustainable recovery for clients who completed the full continuum of care.  Westminster House believes that recovery does not just end once the Client completes the program. The success is in helping women get to the finish line and integrate back into society as students, professionals and empowered women.

Our next event will be at The Hyack Uptown Street Festival on May 28th! See you there!
