Year of recovery supported by Minister of Mental Health and Addiction Honorable Judy Darcy. Year of Recovery, that will help reduce the stigma of mental illness and addiction, build recovery capital with the end goal to stop overdoses. Judy Darcy announces $50,0000 in financial support, the first of its kind for recovery. Hundreds gathered to launch the Year of Recovery which will help spread the positive message of Recovery Capital. The highlighted events include, Clean, Sober, Proud, on August 5, a Candle Light Vigil on September 6 followed by the Recovery Capital Conference, September 6 & 7 and ending the week with Recovery Day on September 8, 2018 – featuring solo artist Matthew Good who will perform a free concert.
